Most people travel to and from Kennebunkport by car. However, the Amtrak train, The Downeaster, is another option for traveling from Boston, MA, to Wells, ME. From Wells, you can Uber to Bass Cove Point, or contact us ahead of time to schedule a pick-up and return to the train station for $70. Once at our property, you don’t need a car. You can easily walk or bike to town and the beaches. This option may be particularly attractive for people living in Boston or Portsmouth who want to enjoy a car-free vacation experience in coastal Maine. We may be able to adjust check-in and checkout times to accommodate persons arriving and departing by The Downeaster.
